IE5+ Synchronous Motor

The new generation of NORD IE5+ synchronous motors are manufactured in-house for use in intralogistics as well as in the food and beverage industry. The motors feature a compact and hygienic design in a very small space and thus ensure high corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is optionally available as an nsd tupH Sealed Surface Conversion or IP69K version (when supplied as a gearmotor). The motor-integrated encoder is standard and an integrated mechanical brake is optional. By using the motor, the number of versions and operating costs are reduced. It is compatible with all gear units and intended for use with NORD Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) - wall or cabinet mounted versions only.

LogiDrive with Synchronous Motor

LogiDrive™ is an energy efficient and maintenance-friendly solution consisting of an efficient gearbox, IE4/IE5+ permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and decentralized variable frequency drive. Gear unit standardization and spare part reduction are easily achieved without sacrificing your ability to obtain modular replacements. Variable frequency drive and IE4/IE5+ motor support large speed ranges through single gearbox & motor combination. Decentralized drive with plug & play technology make installation and maintenance a breeze. Efficient operation at partial load and low speeds make this the ideal solution for high-volume warehousing and packaging systems.

Condition Monitoring for Predictive Maintenance

For condition monitoring, drive and status data are recorded periodically or continuously in order to optimize the operational safety and efficiency of machines and plants. NORDAC Inverter Family

NORD variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor starters are ideal both for centralized operation in a control cabinet as well as for decentralized, fully integrated use directly on the motor. These VFDs are Industry 4.0 ready, can be networked and with the internal PLC enable pre-processing of internal status data or data from externally connected sensors which enables remote status monitoring. With a wide variety of VFDs to choose from, NORD has a solution that meets your needs.

NORDAC PRO SK 500P

The NORDAC PRO is the variable frequency drive for all applications. The future-proof nature of the NORDAC PRO is shown by its modern connectivity such as the use of an SD memory card as a storage medium for parameters, firmware and operating data, as well as a USB interface which enables parameterization of the inverter when the power is switched off. The optional Bluetooth interface rounds off the operating convenience. Use of the latest components enables a very compact design and therefore space-saving installation in the control cabinet without spaces between units.
